Success Stories
John Long Middle School
- Our students raised over $230.00 at the dance on Friday selling beaded necklaces.
- We collected over $300.00 from trick-or-treat last weekend.
- During the first 15 minutes of our Longoria's Letter fundraiser the students raised $76.00. Click for more infomation!
- We are planning raffle baskets for Parent Teacher Conferences and our Musical. It looks like we raised over $200.00 in our first night of raffle ticket sales. We have 5 more major selling days in the next two weeks. Click to view the baskets!
- We have nearly reached $600.00 in the money war/teacher stunts and have received requests for corporate sponsorship to start next week. Local corporations are looking into sponsoring individual teachers. Thomas Jefferson Middle School-Port Washington has joined in our efforts and have committed their January variety show ticket sales and concession sales to Hometown Heroes.
Grafton High School - Student Council
- The Grafton HS Student Council just dropped off a donation for $392. They held a penny war between the upper classmen and the lower classmen and also raised some money by selling water at a school dance.
Concordia University Wisconsin
- Concordia University Wisconsin raised $605 at their homecoming dance by holding a raffle and accepting cash donations from the students and their guests.
Arrowhead High School - Gator Club
- Arrowhead Gator club raised $650.00 during the game against Catholic Memorial.
Boy Scout Troop 840 - Grafton
- Boy Scout Troop 840 attended two Grafton HS football games and not only raised awareness of this project, but also collected over $1500. The two games were a rival game at Cedarburg on 10/17 and a home game against Germantown on 10/22.
